Robert Blosser of Poynette, WI is a well-accomplished tournament fisherman for over 20 years.

Originally from Chicago, Robert moved to Wisconsin when he was a teenager. He has been tournament fishing in just about every major walleye circuit. Robert has taken the prestigious Angler of the Year title 3 times between the NWT and FLW.

Robert note’s his confidence in trolling lead core and also he is good at open water trolling. He says one of his least favorite techniques is vertical jigging.  His favorite body water is Green Bay for giant walleyes. Robert notes a day a few years back in Door County with his daughter where they landed 5 walleyes weighing 53 pounds! He notes that this was one of his most memorable days on the water and he got his daughter a replica of one of the bigger ones for Christmas.

When Robert isn’t fishing walleye tournaments, he enjoys salmon fishing on Lake Michigan and smallmouth bass fishing. Robert says he spent a lot of time salmon fishing out of Waukegan Harbor in Illinois on the south end of Lake Michigan while he was growing up. When he’s not on the water, Robert is spending time with his family and is an avid deer hunter in the fall as well. Robert’s brother Josh is also a professional walleye fisherman who is also fishing in PWS this season.
