Dale Helgeson is from Lake Geneva, WI, and is a well-accomplished tournament fisherman.
Dale has fished many different walleye circuits across the upper midwest and has done well with several 2nd place finishes in the MWC and GWC. Dale also qualified for national events in his career.
Dale guides part-time in southern Wisconsin along with owning a cabinet company with his wife. When Dale isn’t on the water, he spends time with his wife, four kids, and three grandchildren. When Dale was younger he traveled out of state playing softball for state teams, participating in several national tournaments. Dale is also an avid deer hunter and looks forward to fall-hunting season each year. In the springtime, he enjoys turkey hunting and works with Mossy Oak at sports shows in the winter months. In addition to the outdoors, Dale enjoys watching stock car racing and golfing.
Dale is excited about the PWS Season and says he has been getting ready by making lures and studying maps of some of the new fisheries H2H will be visiting. He loves the release format and notes that out of all the H2H 2021 events he is looking forward to going to Nebraska. Dale says that the Detroit River is his least favorite body of water but is cautiously optimistic for the first H2H event held on the Detroit River in April. Tactics-wise, Dale likes a rod in his hand but will troll if need be.
