Corey Heiser is from West Fargo, North Dakota, and is a long-time walleye tournament fisherman.
Corey has an impressive tournament resume to go with his many years of experience. Corey has two tournament wins in the MWC circuit in 2015 and 2016. Along with two wins, Corey has seven top-five finishes and has 12 top-ten finishes. Corey is also a ten-time qualifier for the MWC championship, and he won the MWC Team of the Year title in 2017.
Corey owns and operates Games Galore Party Rental. His company specializes in inflatable games and provides other games like laser tag and mechanical bulls. When Corey is not on the water or working, he spends time with his wife and four kids. Corey also loves to ice fish when he gets the opportunity and notably owns an ice house that he uses for both camping and fishing.
Corey talks about how artificial fishing baits have come full circle and elaborates on how it has made him fish more efficiently and ultimately a better angler. He is excited about the PWS season and says that he has already started breaking down waters on the schedule by thinking about what bait might work at each body of water. Corey says one of the coolest draws to the PWS series is that it will be the same 32 guys competing at each event. He believes that builds a true circuit and competition when facing the same fisherman at each tournament. Corey says that all anglers having the same amount of time to pre-fish and not making long runs each morning when the tournament starts is huge.
